Matthew Lee Wiener is the Executive Director of the Administrative Conference of the United States. He was previously Special Counsel at the law firm of Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP, General Counsel to U.S. Senator Arlen Specter, Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, and a partner at the law firm of Dechert LLP (formerly known as Dechert Price & Rhoads). While working for the House Judiciary Committee, he served on the Council of the American Bar Association’s Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice.
Mr. Wiener is also a lecturer in law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he teaches a course on Congress and the Supreme Court, and an adjunct professor of Law at George Mason University School of Law, where he co-teaches a course on statutory interpretation with Reeve Bull, an attorney-advisor at the Administrative Conference. He previously taught remedies, injunctions, and other subjects at Rutgers University School of Law (Camden).
Mr. Wiener earned his law degree from Stanford Law School, where he was Articles Editor of the Stanford Law Review, and his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary.
