The Applicability of the Data Quality Act to Adverse Agency Publicity The Data Quality Act (DQA) is a statute that can be used to address misstatements made by federal agencies which generate adverse publicity with respect to the activities of a member of the public. The DQA has been invoked by a party who alleges he was harmed by a press release of a federal agency.
