ACUS Member Becomes Deputy Secretary of U.S. Department of Transportation

Washington, May 19, 2017 - Jeffrey Rosen has been confirmed by the Senate as the 18th Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Mr. Rosen served as a public member of the Administrative Conference of the United States until joining DOT. ACUS extends its congratulations to Deputy Secretary Rosen and thanks him for his many contributions and outstanding service to ACUS.

Before joining DOT, Mr. Rosen was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He was also, among his many accomplishments, the Chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice. Mr. Rosen received a B.A. with Highest Distinction from Northwestern University and a J.D. Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School.
