Authorization bill H.R. 2480 passes in the house. The Conference's recommendations are noted to have historically led to millions of dollars in savings across government agencies. ACUS is exploring and promoting the most efficient means of sharing information and responsibility among the federal government, state and local governments, businesses and citizens. This includes new models of collaborative governance, such as third party or audited self-regulation, as well as the use of established techniques that ACUS pioneered, such as Regulatory Negotiation. Committee meetings begin in August. For additional information, look to our website and upcoming Federal Register Notices.
